Alyssa Hartmann is an artist based in Long Island, New York.  She loves the color pink, surrealism, and pop music. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2024 with a BFA in Illustration. She has won a first place award in the Connections exhibition at the Art Guild of Port Washington and a Runner-Up recognition in Creative Quarterly 76. Her work has been shown in the FIT Illustration Class of 2024 Showcase outside the John E. Reeves Great Hall and in the Go Figure exhibition at the Art Guild of Port Washington. She has done work for the Gold Coast Library and for other Nassau Libraries through the North Shore Programming Consortium. She is experienced with hand-lettering and has done hand-lettered signs for local businesses in her community. She is also experienced in painting, screenprinting, block printing, narrative illustration, book illustration, editorial illustration, advertising illustration, pattern design, and logo design.
